The members of the Hugo Business Association (HBA) believe that together, our voices have the power to positively affect our businesses. Our purpose is to promote and support ethical businesses and to give back to the community.

The Hugo Business Association exists to support local business through mutually beneficial relationships with other businesses, the Hugo community at large, as well as the City of Hugo, Washington County, and the State of Minnesota. The association takes its spirit of unity and collaboration seriously and focuses on providing promotional, educational, and informational opportunities for member businesses and increasing the strength and value of the association. Through the work of the HBA, customers are encouraged to shop locally to support a healthy economy and community. Since its creation in 2002, the Hugo Business Association has advocated that growth and strives to help make Hugo a great place to live, work, and do business.

The Hugo Business Association shares the excitement of doing business locally through the Kidz ‘n Biz Fest and links to local businesses via this website. The HBA also sponsors the Annual State of the City Mayor’s Address, Good Neighbor Days events, Community Night Out, and Hot Topic Breakfasts. The HBA strongly supports the community by donating to local schools and parks as part of an important heritage that helps make the community a better place to live.
